Space Adventurers is a soft play that has been designed to be accessible for all abilities.
VIRTUAL TOUR TO PREPARE VISITORS IN ADVANCE OF VISITING
The above virtual tour (in the top menu) is designed to help parents prepare children for their visit to the centre.
PARKING
We have disabled parking located close to our centre entrance. Blue badge parking is also available on near by streets in the event that parking is full. Due to reduced capacity during SEND events we would always have parking close-by for these sessions.
ACCESS FOR THE SOFT PLAY
We have wheelchair accessibility entrances and walk ways around our venue.
TOILETS
We have a disabled toilet located on the ground floor of our centre.
SEND EVENTS
SEND exclusive sessions are held on the 3rd Sunday of every month 4.30-7pm. During this session we turn off music, lower lighting and have very low numbers in our centre.
Our staff have been trained in accessibility training with many having undergone basic Makaton training. All details on our SEND events can be found on the activities booking page as well as advertised on our Facebook page.
GENERAL SESSIONS
We are also happy to accommodate turning the music down and adjusting lighting whenever requested.
QUIET ROOM
We can also create a chill out room whenever needed both during our SEND sessions and also during general sessions if you speak to a member of staff.
CENTRE ACCESSIBILITY
The centre is wheelchair accessible on the ground floor with ordering from the cafe in person or on your mobile phone and also has a ground floor disabled toilet suitable for wheelchair users. There is sufficient space for a wheelchair user and carer to use this accessible toilet which also has an emergency pull cord if required whilst using the facility.
CARER DISCOUNTS
We also have discounts available to Rainbow and Max card holders (code at booking is RAINBOWMAX20) and accept guide and assistance dogs into our centre.
GUIDE DOGS
We are able to accept guide and assistance dogs into our centres providing they are fully trained and part of a registered guide dog organisation with Assistance Dogs UK (ADUK). Assistance dogs will be required to wear an identifying harness, jacket or lead slip at all times whilst on the premises.
QUESTIONS
If there are any questions we can help with or anything which could make your visit easier then please do not hesitate to get in touch with us in advance of your visit and we will do all we can to accommodate any additional requests.
